Ismail Haniya, Chief of Hamas Political Bureau, delivered a speech during the General Arab Conference ‘United against Normalization’. He listed four pillars in the fight against normalization with the ‘Israeli’ occupation.
Haniya said that the first thing is the implementation of comprehensive resistance against the occupation at political, popular and military levels.
The second is the agreement on a political program that is far from Oslo Accords, unrecognizes the legitimacy of the occupation and combines between politics and comprehensive resistance.
The third pillar is restoring the Palestinian unity; he confirmed that Hamas movement is committed to the outcome of the Palestinian dialogue in Cairo and working with Fatah and all Palestinian factions on the success of the elections.
Finally, he stressed the importance of strengthening partnership with the Arab and Islamic Ummah, since the threat goes beyond the Palestinian issue to include and target the surrounding territories and peoples.
Haniya also said that the indicators of normalizing with the occupation have exposed the extent of the Zionist penetration of some elites in the region. He warned against a scheme to remap the region and to integrate the occupation, but it triggered the national sense of the nation's masses that refuse normalization.
