The Prisoners’ Media Office reported that the practices carried out by the Israeli occupation against detainees in the “Rakefet” underground prison and the “Sde Teiman” prison involve horrific torture methods, representing the peak of the occupation’s brutality. It warned that the continuation of these violations would lead to more deaths inside the prisons.

According to testimonies from released detainees, the torture methods include continuous beatings on sensitive areas, breaking of fingers, complete isolation without sunlight, systematic starvation, and rest periods not exceeding twenty minutes every two days—spent shackled with their heads forced to the ground.

The office also noted the continuous spread of diseases, especially scabies, which, due to medical neglect, has turned into an epidemic ravaging the prisoners’ bodies.
