Occupation Bulldozes Lands in Abu Dis

Feb 24, 2021 01:11 pm

Bassam Bahar, head of the Committee for the Defense of Abu Dis Lands, said that the occupation forces bulldozed a large area of citizens’ lands in Abu Dis town, east of the occupied Al-Quds, serving the Kidar settlement.

Bahar said that the occupation prevents the landowners of about 1500 dunums from working in or reclaiming their lands as part of the E1 settlement scheme in east of Al-Quds.

He added that the 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave the green light to the implementation of the settlement project, which was internationally criticized, in the town because it divides the occupied West Bank into northern and southern areas.
