Iyad Al-Buzum, spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, said in a press release that the investigation in the martyrdom of the three fishermen in Khan Yunus sea, to the south of the Gaza Strip, showed the remains of an explosive attached to a Quadrotor drone that belongs to the ‘Israeli’ occupation. The drone exploded while the fishermen were pulling out their net.

Al-Buzum shouldered the occupation the full responsibility of the fishermen’s martyrdom. He urged international institutions and commissions to offer protection to the Palestinian fishermen and pursue and convict the occupation for its crimes against them.

He said that the Ministry of Interior informed a delegation of directors of right institutions in Gaza about the investigation results and all other pieces of evidence that confirm the occupation’s commitment of the crime.

During the press conference, footages of the drone and remains of the boat and explosives were displayed.
