Kamal Al-Shakhra, MoH’s spokesperson, said that the pandemic in the West Bank is growing more serious as the virus continues to spread. The citizens have stopped following the protective procedures, the hospitals are filled with patients and the infection rate has been increasing.

Al-Shakhra said that the operation rate at hospitals reached 110%, which means the West Bank is heading to a more serious stage. 20 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.

The spokesperson also advised the citizens to be more careful because the situation is getting worse. If the people do not commit to the procedures, the death and infection rates will notably increase. The declared numbers reach 50% only of the existing cases because of the citizens’ unwillingness to be tested.
