Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza announced that 7 people have died due to malnutrition within just one week.  

Dr. Mohammed Kaheel, Head of the Clinical Nutrition Department at the complex, stated that 12% of the cases they receive suffer from severe malnutrition, and 90% of them do not receive food regularly on a daily basis due to Israel’s starvation policy and blockade on Gaza.  

Kaheel explained that the real suffering for patients and the wounded begins after their lives are saved, as there is neither food nor treatment available to help them recover from their injuries.
