Maariv newspaper said that Reuven Rivlin, occupation’s President, and Aviv Kochavi, the Chief of General Staff, left the occupied Palestine in a trip to several European countries in an attempt to cancel the investigation that Fatou Bom Bensouda, ICC Prosecutor, decided to open.

The newspaper also revealed that Rivlin and Kochavi will go to Germany, Austria, and France for three days and will meet with the presidents of these countries as they have membership in the ICC. The most important meeting will take place in France.

The French Le Monde newspaper published a semi-official position asking for the launch of investigation against the occupation.

The newspaper said that this investigation tests the credibility of the USA and other western countries, and their support to the two-state solution. The occupation’s embassy in Paris responded to the newspaper’s opening and described it as ‘shocking’.
