Israel Hayom said that Yair Lapid, leader of Yesh Atid, met Mansour Abbas, leader of the United Arab List, to discuss the possibility of the Arab List’s formation of a government led by Lapid, and they agreed to meet in the coming days.

The meeting followed Ayoob Kara, Druze minister, visit to Abbas’ home in Maghar village in Galilee to congratulate him on his victory. The newspaper said that PM Netanyahu was the one to call for such a visit in order to try and involve Abbas in a right government. Abbas is the only chance for Netanyahu to form government especially after the elections results were close.
