Fares Al-Deek, specialist in Israeli affairs, said that some settlers stoned Palestinian citizens, and injured young Salman Ahmed in the face. The citizens were in their lands in Kafr ad-Dik town, west of Salfit, in the occupied West Bank.
Al-Deek added that the settlers destroyed Rami Ahmed’s car which was parked near the land. Al-Deek noted that this was not the settlers’ first attack against the farmers, who were also attacked yesterday while being in their land. The settlers tried to expel them, attacked their property and smashed the windows and doors of a farm room in the area with the aim to seize it for the settlements’ expansion.
Al-Deek pointed that the settlers demolished a farming room near the site and cut down dozens of olive trees a while ago. These ongoing attacks, which are conducted under the army protection, seek to deny citizens accessing their lands in the northern part of the town.
