The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards.
It explained that the settlers received explanations about the so-called "Temple" during the raid and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers near the Bab al-Rahma area on the eastern side of the mosque.
Meanwhile, the occupation police imposed restrictions on Palestinian access to the mosque, checked their IDs, and confiscated some at the outer gates.
