Yedioth Ahronoth said that the occupation’s police executed Moneer Enbitawi, 33, from Wadi Nisnas in Haifa under the pretext of having attempted a stabbing although he is mentally ill.

The newspaper said that his mother called the police and requested help to transport him to a mental health facility, but the police shot him instead.

His relatives confirmed his mental status of being ill. His sister, Shireen, said that the police killed her brother with cold blood. Instead of helping the family, she said, they killed him. She refuted the allegations that he attempted a stabbing confirming that he did not carry a knife when he left the house.
