Eyewitnesses told Safa that dozens of settlers seized three buildings, including 15 apartments, and a land in the central neighborhood of Silwan under heavy police protection.

The Eyewitnesses added that the settlers set up surveillance cameras and iron windows for protection, and raised the occupation’s flag. The occupation’s vehicles opened a wide gate in one of the buildings. Also, one of the seized buildings is threatened with demolition but the decision was suspended immediately after the settlers seized it.

The witnesses said that the settlers put two residential rooms and iron stairs on the 400-metre land they had taken over.

Channel 7 said that the newly seized homes were added to 22 other previously taken over, and transmitted a statement by an official in the settlement project that these settlers' actions show actual seizure of Al-Quds.
