The Israeli occupation forces reinstalled the iron bars it had installed for four days at the Bab Al-Amud stairway in the occupied Al-Quds. The soldiers closed down the area from all directions to prevent the youth from sitting on it. They even used police dogs. The forces fired sound bombs and chased down the youth, and oppressed them using dirty water.

Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers arrested the young man Ahmed Melhem from before Al-Asbat Gate after the Tarawih prayer. They also arrested 3 candidates for the Legislative Council after preventing a press conference on the elections in the city. The three are Nasser Qus, Ratiba Al-Nishta and Ashraf Al-Awar.
