Ismael Haniya, Head of Hamas' Political Bureau, stated in a press release after the occupation's assaults on the occupied Al-Quds that the Jerusalemites' uprising against the occupation proves the Arab, Islamic and Palestinian history of the city and that it would never accept being occupied. The Palestinian people will win this round as it did in earlier rounds.

He also said that the Jerusalemites are not fighting this battle alone as everyone is willing to do what it takes for its freedom.

Ahmed Bahar, Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, called for an uprising in Al-Quds against the occupation and its brutal settlers. He also urged the Palestinian resistance to protect the Jerusalemites.

He also urged the international community and world right institutes to help Al-Quds and act quickly to declare the criminality of the settlers' assaults on the Palestinian people. He also urged the Arab and Muslim peoples to stand in solidarity with Al-Quds through holding protests after the Friday prayer.
