Israeli Channel 12 reported that the occupation forces surrendered to the Jerusalemites' uprising and removed the checkpoints which fueled the recent events near Al-Amud Gate in the occupied Al-Quds. This enraged the Israeli Knesset members.

Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir said that removing the checkpoints was a shameful retreat and clear violation of the 'Israeli hegemony'.

Kan channel correspondent said that the recent events declared Hamas and the Jerusalemites as victorious.

The occupation forces oppressed the Jerusalemites' celebrations after the removal of the checkpoints through assaulting the citizens, forcing them to exit, and confiscating the Palestinian flag.
