Nidal Jameel, Chief of Burin Village Council, told Safa agency that some settlers set fire to lands in Burin town in Nablus burning fully-grown olive trees.
The settlers assaulted a youngster called Amru Al-Najjar who was wounded and bruised.
Jameel said that the town has been assaulted several times. The settlers target the town's outskirts and citizens' homes to terrorize the citizens and expel them from their lands.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors Israeli colonial settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that the settlers attacks get fiercer after every Fedayeen operation. Since Za'tara's operation, 37 assaults were documented in 36 hours; i.e. one assault per hour (an alarming rate).
