Gaza Deterred Israeli Occupation

May 24, 2021 08:46 am

Mohammed Al-Hindi, member in Jihad Political Bureau, told the press that the Israeli occupation requested from the Egyptian mediator to interfere and achieve a ceasefire with the Palestinian resistance in the final days of the aggression on Gaza despite its initial attempts to pretend otherwise.

Al-Hindi said that the occupation had to stop its rockets because it had no targets, and the only the targets it hit were the massacres killing civilian women and children, and, therefore, had no international or American cover to proceed.

Shabak former officer Ilan Lutin said that one does not need to be an intelligence officer to know that Hamas and Islamic Jihad were well-prepared for an escalation. The resistance would go back to developing its rockets and assets. He said that Gaza managed to deter the Israeli entity.

Jonathan Freedland wrote in the Guardian that the occupation's claims of making achievements against the Palestinian resistance do not fool anyone. The occupation knows it faced a strategic disaster as Hamas succeeded in overpassing the Iron Dome and targeting the center of the entity, and as it failed to hit any real targets.
