The occupation forces targeted the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, twice in succession, committing a massacre that left 20 martyrs, including 5 journalists.
The Ministry of Health stated that the first strike hit the fourth floor of the Nasser Medical Complex, followed by a second strike as ambulance crews arrived to rescue the wounded and recover the martyrs, while journalists were documenting the incident. This led to the killing of 20 Palestinians.
According to sources, among the journalists killed were: journalist Maryam Abu Daqa, Al Jazeera cameraman Mohamed Salama, journalist Moaz Abu Taha, journalist Hossam Al-Masri, and journalist Ahmed Abu Aziz. Meanwhile, the Civil Defense announced the martyrdom of a firefighter driver and the injury of 7 other Civil Defense members while trying to save the wounded and recover the bodies.
