The American Washington Post said that over 500 members of American President Joe Biden's campaign and employees in the democratic party signed a petition to Biden asking him to hold the occupation accountable after its recent aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The newspaper said that the petition requested more protection of the Palestinians' rights focusing on the difference in death toll between the Palestinians and the settlers.
