The Kuwaiti National Assembly unanimously approved the draft to boycott the Israeli occupation and submitted it to the external affairs committee of the Assembly.
Marzouq Al-Ghanem, Speaker of the National Assembly, said that the vote on criminalizing normalization should be unanimous to avoid any undesired political dimensions.
The Assembly issued a statement on the Israeli aggressions in Palestine, expressing its solidarity with the Palestinian people's struggle to obtain its right of establishing an independent country with Al-Quds as its capital.
Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nasser, Kuwait Foreign Minister, said that his country doubled its diplomatic efforts to protect Al-Quds and other holy sites. He said that Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa was a redline, and no stability or security can be achieved until it is liberated from the occupation and the latter is held accountable for its crimes internationally.
