Ismael Haniya, Chief of Hamas' Political Bureau, met with the Director of Egyptian Intelligence Abbas Kamel in Cairo.

They addressed several issues including the results of Operation Al-Quds Sword, reinforcing the resistance' accomplishments and reorganizing the internal structure of the Palestinian people.

At the end of the meeting, they agreed on strengthening relations with Egypt, and developing such cooperation. They also emphasized the important role of Egypt in stopping the recent aggression and reconstructing the Gaza Strip.
