Prisoner Al-Ghadanfar Abu Atwan continues his hunger strike for the 58th day in a row in a protest against his administrative detention. His health is in critical condition at the Israeli Kaplan Medical Center. The occupation has rejected his demands and termination of detention.
The doctors confirmed that Abu Atwan faces three serious possibilities: paralysis, a chronic disease or sudden death.
Abu Atwan has already spent years in prison and in 2019 he went on a hunger strike. This is his second strike against administrative detention.
The occupation had arrested him last October (in 2020) and transferred him to administrative detention. He received an administrative detention order twice, 6 months each.
