Hassan Breiha, Director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, said that the Israeli occupation demolished the biggest Canaanite cemetery, which is located in Al-Khadr town in south Bethlehem, in Palestine in order to expand a road for the settlers from Al-Quds to Hebron.

He also said that the so-called Settlement Council in Gush Etzion settlement issued a decision to construct 510 settlement units on lands in Bethlehem.

Several areas in the city are threatened with settlement construction and face the dangers of the installment of caravans, bulldozing of lands and seizure of property. The houses are also demolished and the farmers are prevented from reaching their lands.
