Hamas urged the Palestinian people to march towards Al-Quds and support the murabiteen in Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and allies of the Old Town. It also invited them to perform Al-Adha prayer there to prevent the occupation from attacking Al-Quds and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
Sheikh Hassan Yusuf, leader in Hamas, warned in his statement on Hurrya News against any violations carried out by the occupation against the holy sites which could result in an escalation. He said that Operation Al-Quds Sword was the result of the occupation's behavior inside Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Yusuf said that Silwan neighborhood has also been under attack, and shouldered the occupation the responsibility for the consequences of the attacks because it offers the settlers full protection and encourages further incursions.
