The Hamas Movement stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s approval of a plan to occupy Gaza, after the movement had accepted the mediators’ proposal, confirms his determination to obstruct the agreement.

In a press release, Hamas affirmed that it had agreed to a partial deal and had also shown readiness for a comprehensive one, but Netanyahu rejects all solutions. The movement stressed that an agreement on a ceasefire is the only path to securing the release of captives, holding Netanyahu fully responsible for the fate of the captives still alive in the hands of the resistance.

Hamas called for continued official and popular pressure to stop the genocide and starvation policies against the Palestinian people.
