Ben & Jerry Ice-Cream company announced stopping selling its products to the settlements in the occupied West Bank which enraged the Israeli occupation and the USA.
PM Naftali Bennett accused the ice-cream company of being anti-Semitic and considered such decision a very serious one.
Isaac Herzog, occupation's President, described the company's decision as a new form of terrorism; economic terrorism. He also said that BDS did not build peace since it opposes the existence of the entity itself.
Gilad Erdan, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations, sent letters to 35 American governors whose states have legislations against the BDS movement and demanded legal measures to be taken against this universal ice-cream company.
The American Secretary of State declared its rejection of the BDS and international sanctions imposed on the entity. However, it refrained from discussing the decision of Ben & Jerry company.
