Khalid Zabarqa, Sheikh Raed Salah lawyer, told Palestine newspaper that the Israeli occupation continuously tortures Sheikh Raed Salah by sending him to solitary confinement since his arrest on August 16, 2020.

Zabarqa said that keeping Sheikh Salah in Rimon prison is illegal, and that he was arrested for expressing his opinions.

The lawyer also said that the occupation has been waging a war against awareness and conception in order to manipulate the Arab and Palestinian minds into Zionism. Any person who exposes the occupation's true self and raises awareness about the protection of the Palestinian identity is immediately chased down.
