The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported that Israeli authorities in Gilboa Prison have escalated torture practices, including the use of electric shocks. During raids, prisoners are bound hand and foot, beaten, insulted, and electrocuted—sometimes after being soaked in water to intensify the pain. These electric shocks are inflicted using heavy steel stun guns, which are also used to strike prisoners, causing serious injuries. The prisoners are also deprived of food and cleaning supplies, leading to severe weight loss and unsanitary conditions that promote disease spread.
