Haaretz newspaper reported that the Israeli occupation army hid the murder of 6 Palestinian civilians with an artillery shell in the last aggression on Gaza last May.
The newspaper reported that the martyred civilians are a 9-month-old baby, a 17-year-old girl, 3 women and a man. They were all civilians. The newspaper said that the victims were martyred after being wrongfully targeted in their house along the Gaza Strip borders.
It pointed to how despite being a planned bombardment, the army did not ask the residents to evacuate nor send any warnings.
The newspaper also said that the incident was not published to the public, but the army initiated an investigation and reached some 'learned lessons'. The killers of the 6 citizens were not brought to justice, only low-ranked soldiers were suspended for a while but later returned. High-ranked officers were not held accountable.
