Thiab Mashala, Chief of Al-Ja'ba Village Council, said that some settlers cut tens of ancient olive trees in Ja'ba village in Bethlehem. The trees are over 60 years old and belong to Refaat Al-Tus.

Mashala also said that the citizens could not reach the land to count the number of cut trees. The forces prevented the landowners from entering their lands except twice a year, at time of plantation and harvest.
