The Israeli occupation court decided to extend the solitary confinement of Sheikh Raed Salah for another 6 months.

The Sheikh was arrested in mid-August last year and was sentenced 28 months. He suffers from difficult conditions in the confinement.

Lawyer Khaled Zabarqa told Safa that the occupation’s court disregards all legal procedures and issues verdicts accordingly.

He stressed that solitary confinement for long periods of time is considered a crime and a form of prohibited torture according to the International Law.
