Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that a number of settlers attacked one of the quarries in ’Asira al-Qibliya Village to the south of Nablus and set a bulldozer on fire. They also wrote racist phrases on the walls. They tried to attack Palestinians’ homes, but the citizens stood up to them forcing them to retreat. Confrontations with the occupation’s forces erupted, and the soldiers fired dozens of tear gas and sound bombs at the Palestinians and their homes.
