Opening of Malaysia Street in Palestine

In collaboration with Cinta Gaza Malaysia and the Palestinian Malaysian Strategic Initiatives Centre (PALM), the Municipality of Gaza opened Malaysia Street in parallel to Jamal Abdel Nasser Street, which lies in the middle of Gaza city, on Tuesday.

The CEO of Cinta Gaza Malaysia, Muhammed Nadir Al-Nuri Kamaruzaman, the Chief of the Municipality of Gaza Dr. Yehya Al-Sarraj, the Head of My-Care Institute Dr. Ziad Shehadeh, and the Chief of the Palestinian Malaysian Strategic Initiatives Centre (PALM) Ibrahim Al-Zaeem and attended the opening ceremony.

During the ceremony, Dr. Al-Sarraj said, "naming one of the main streets in Gaza by Malaysia Street comes in gratitude to Malaysia's naming one of its streets by Palestine."

The CEO of Cinta Gaza Malaysia, Muhammed Nadir Al-Nuri Kamaruzaman, thanked the Palestinian people in Gaza for naming a part of their land by Malaysia, as he felt like he is in his motherland without the need to travel to.

The Chief of My-Care Institute Dr. Ziad Shehadeh said that Gaza includes several Malaysian institutes, which serve the Palestinian people and transfer to them their experience of development and prosperity.

The 64th anniversary of Malaysia's Independence was chosen to open Malaysia Street and launch the website of the Palestinian Malaysian Strategic Initiatives Centre (PALM), which belongs to Cinta Gaza Malaysia, to be promoted on the Centre social media outlets (R.W.G.B.) in both English and Malawian.

During the initiative of launching the institute's websites in Pioneers and Leaders School, the Chief of the Palestinian Malaysia Strategic Initiatives Centre (PALM) Ibrahim Al-Zaeem reviewed the main contentss
s of the website, noting that they contribute to help the people all around the world to know more about the Palestinian cause and suffering.

"Launching the social media outlets of the institute aims at exposing the Israeli claims, crimes, and violations of the Palestinian rights in the occupied Palestinian territories.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendants were introduced to the working system of the Pioneers and Leaders School, which is funded by Malaysia, within the framework of Malaysia's concerns about developing the Palestinians
