Malaysia has condemned statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding his vision for a “Greater Israel.

The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that such planned actions represent a blatant violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention and aim to reinforce the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories.

It added that the “E1” project contradicts international law and relevant UN resolutions, as its main goal is to divide the West Bank, erase Palestinian sovereignty, and destroy the two-state solution.

Malaysia reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and vowed to continue efforts toward the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
