The PALM Strategic Initiative Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Islamic University-Gaza to fund a cultural project, entitled "The Promise of Displacement and the Journey of Liberation."

Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zaeem, the director of the PALM Strategic Initiative Centre, and Dr. Ghassan Weshah, the head of the preparatory committee of Balfour's conference and the chief of the Department of History in the Islamic University met to sign the contract.

The Centre donated $1050 for this project, represented in an anti-Balfour cultural week. It aimed at introducing the current generations to the Balfour Declaration and raising their awareness of its seriousness.  Also, it sought to

confirm that it is the reason behind Al-Nakba and the displacement of the Palestinian people from their houses until this day. Moreover, it called for rejecting and fighting it until the Palestinians restore their basic rights.
