Palm Strategic Initiative Centre in cooperation with the Malaysian Cultural Centre held a seminar entitled "Malaysia's Renaissance" in Gaza University in the Gaza Strip.

Several academics, professors and students of the Gaza university attended the seminar, where Ibrahim Al-Zaeem, the director of the Palm Strategic Initiative Centre, talked about the history of Malaysia, its three different races, and the reasons behind its renaissance.

Al-Zaeem also said that Malaysia's renaissance, after its independence in 1957, was because of its deep concerns about education, as it exerted a lot of efforts to improve the educational curriculums, schools, and universities as they are the key to upgrade other fields.

Moreover, he also focused on that Malaysia developed its economic, agricultural, and tourism fields all of which contributed to upgrading it to be later categorized as one of the developed countries, even though it had been under the British economy for many long years.

He also stressed on the significance of benefiting from Malaysia's experience and applying it to Palestine to promote all fields in a planned manner that suits the conditions of the Palestinian issue.
