Haaretz reported that the Israeli occupation Government had monitored NIS 29.5 million to link random outposts in the occupied West Bank to the electricity grid and to prepare structural maps for its legitimacy.
The financing of informal outposts is a new item in the current year's Settlement Service Action Plan, following political endorsement. The Settlement Service has mapped dozens of informal outposts with a view to implementing "security improvements", such as setting up cameras or fire suppression vehicles.
