The Israeli occupation made progress in the construction of the apartheid wall between the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 and those occupied in 1967 in the southern Hebron region of the occupied West Bank.

The occupation completed the digging of 5 kilometres in the form of a trench and took control of the 7 and a half kilometres' longitude. The occupation army claimed that the wall was intended to prevent and thwart resistance in the occupied West Bank.
