"Breaking Dawn" operation has revealed two critical facts. The first is that the media is now so effective at revealing our message to the audience and supporting our military plans. The second one: it is possible, if we do it right, to properly succeed via the media to affect international public opinion.

Starting with a real story before 2015, when the Syrian Ambassador, Bashar Al-Jaffrey_ who is now Syria's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs_ attacked us and claimed that Israel violates the human rights of the Syrian people by preventing the transfer of apples grown on the Golan Heights into Syria, during a human rights session at the United Nations in Geneva. Hence, in a rush, I asked permission from officials in Jerusalem to let me reveal the truth. At least in my eyes, I saw it as a simple issue, and that revealing the truth must not be a big deal. Consequently, I expected a quick reply, but I received it after a week instead, so I had no interest in the whole topic. This made the members of the Council believe the claim of the Syrian ambassador.

This time, in the "Breaking Dawn" operation, all relevant parties understood the importance of refuting the Palestinian narrative (which says that we killed children in Jabalia camp) and refuted it. As the media today is distinguished by rapid deployment in all media cites and social media. We are committed to continuing the success we fulfilled in the "Breaking Dawn" operation so as to achieve a sustainable work style for the future.

The media's success during the Gaza operation must encourage us to take the risk of establishing Israeli TV in Arabic for the entire Arab world, allowing us to influence international public opinion at the very least and publish a positive image of historical and cultural Israel. As long as we have a peace agreement on one side and military conflicts and existential threats on the other, TV establishment is a necessary demand.
