The International Commission to Support the Palestinian People's Rights, in cooperation with PALM Strategic Initiatives Centre, organized a closing ceremony for the "Palestinian Cause Forum" project.
Salah Abdel Atti; Head of the International Commission, Ibrahim Alzaeem; Director of PALM, and many researchers and human rights personnel attended the ceremony.
"The goal of such initiatives made with PALM is to keep the Palestinian cause alive in all international forums," Abdel Atti said.
He added "the forum addresses three strategic studies that carry with it the reality of the Palestinian cause and rights and the strengthening of the role of popular resistance, supervised by a group of human rights researchers from inside and outside Palestine."
Abdel Atti thanked PALM as it has exerted serious efforts to help this forum succeed, and funded the book that contains the participating researches in Arabic and English so this book can reach the largest number of people. He also urged the official Palestinian bodies and decision makers to view the researches that serve the Palestinian cause.
Mohammed Abo Oun, Spokesman of PALM Strategic Initiatives Centre, said that the Centre is always ready to open the doors of cooperation in the field of scientific research with the concerned institutes and commissions, believing in the important role it plays in order to support the Palestinian cause and strengthen the national narrative through those scientific tools. He also confirmed the significance to reach a united political system that brings together the Palestinian popular bases and balances the foreign relations, calling for enhancing the mobilization towards the Palestinian cause.
Ahmed Alshuqaqi, writer and political analyzer, said that the outcomes of this forum have reached to officials and decision makers. He also stressed the importance of achieving projects and programs that serve the Palestinian cause, considering the forum's discussion of the Palestinian reality as seriously important.
Hussam Aldajani, writer and political analyzer, said that the legal opinion concerning the Palestinian cause filed to the International Court of Justice has never followed up until this day. He also urged the political leadership to read the forum's outcomes, calling for the necessity for an aware Palestinian society that adopts a national strategy to confront the challenges that face the Palestinian cause.
Aldajani noted that there was never any body supporting such events that concern about the Palestinian reality, appreciating PALM Strategics' efforts to fund this forum, which serves the Palestinian cause.
