Hamas Renews Its call for Prisoner Swap Deal

Sep 10, 2022 11:31 am

Hamas renewed its call for a prisoner swap deal involving sick and elderly prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons.

The member of the political bureau of Hamas, Zaher Jabarin, called on the occupation to capture the opportunity before it was too late. This call comes in the light of a serious deterioration in the health of the prisoner with cancer, Nasser Abu Hamid, and the completion of a previous offer by the movement to conclude a humanitarian swap deal after the release of video clips of the Israeli captive with Hisham al-Sayed, showing his deteriorated health situation.

Israeli media reported that there was little prospect of a prisoner swap between the occupation and Hamas.
