The University Professors Syndicate in Australia called on its members to ban and boycott the visit of its members to the Israeli entity, stressing the need to strengthen ties with Palestinian syndicates and the Palestinian Federation of Syndicates of University Professors and Employees.

The syndicate added that this decision supports the right of members to engage in the boycott and the divestment from the occupation entity procedures, calling to organize a conference of indigenous solidarity with the Palestinians scheduled for late 2023.

The syndicate members number is about 27 thousand people, all of them are employees and professors from institutions of higher education and universities in Australia, and it is the only one operating in the Australian university sector.
