Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, demanded that Washington to compel the occupation to cease its crimes against the Palestinian people and their land and sanctities.

This came during a telephone conversation with the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, in which he briefed President Abbas Blinken on the attacks on the Palestinian people in cities, villages and camps, including the siege, killing, demolition of houses and settlements, settler violence and violations of the occupied city of Al-Quds and its Islamic and Christian sanctities.

Blinken stressed that his Department was making efforts and contacts to de-escalate the current escalation.
