A majority of Palestinians support the establishment of armed resistance groups such as the "Lions' Den" in the occupied West Bank, which was indicated by a poll on resistance activities in the West Bank.

According to a survey conducted by the Palestinian Center for the Political Science, 72% of respondents support the formation of these groups, and 87% said that the authority has no right to arrest the resistance.

Regarding the continuation of the activities of these groups, 59% of the respondents said they predict forming similar groups in other places in the West Bank. Also, the survey showed that 79% of Palestinians are against the surrender of these groups and the delivery of weapons to the Palestinian authority in order to avoid the arrest by Israel.

This survey showed that supporting a political solution based on the two-state solution declined in the Palestinian public opinion in three months comparing to 55% of support in the last ten years because of the absence of political prospects, and the continuation of the Palestinian killing in the West Bank. Regarding the election results in Israel, 61% of the respondents thought that the government which will be established by Benjamin Netanyahu will be an extremist government more than the previous one.
