The Cabinet endorsed several punitive steps towards the Palestinian Authority, following the recent move by United Nations institutions to prosecute the occupation.

The Cabint approved the deduction of 139 million NIS from Palestinian tax revenues for Israeli families affected by the fedayeen operations, and the withdrawal of privileges from senior Palestinian Authority officials “who were found to be involved in the efforts to prosecute the occupation.”

Moreover, it deducted the salary bill for Palestinian prisoners and martyrs for 2022, as well as froze construction plans based on double-sovereign zones between the Authority and the occupation in the occupied West Bank.
