Tens of thousands of Israelis demonstrated in Tel Aviv against Benjamin Netanyahu's new right-wing government and decisions to undermine Israel's judiciary system.

Participants in the demonstration raised black flags and slogans denouncing the policy of the new Government and its President Netanyahu, demanding an end to the Israel occupation of Palestinian territories. Former Israeli political figures, who expressed fear that Israeli democracy would be destroyed, participated in the demonstration as well.

The Netanyahu Government seeks radical amendments to the judiciary system, and seeks to legitimize "racism and discrimination", which is observed by a wide segment of Israelis as "targeting of democracy." The new rightist governments also include ministers convicted of corruption and terrorism.
