A Palestinian youth was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces for allegedly attempting to stab a soldier in Ramallah, central occupied West Bank.

According to the Ministry of Health, Ahmed Kahla, 45, was shot dead by the occupation near the village of Silwad, east of Ramallah, for allegedly attempting to stab a soldier near the settlement of "Ofra", and the soldiers shot him, resulting in his martyrdom.

Following the martyrdom of Kahla, the number of martyrs has risen since the beginning of this year, to 13 martyrs, including 3 children, all from the West Bank.
