The Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights reported that it has documented 72 cases of missing persons near aid distribution points and truck entry passages in the Gaza Strip.
The rights organization noted that the fate of 18 missing individuals has been identified — they were found to be detained by the Israeli army from Gaza. However, the fate of 54 others remains unknown. The organization warned of a continued rise in the number of missing persons in the coming days.
Earlier, the Palestinian Center for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared announced that it continues to receive an increasing number of reports regarding missing Palestinian citizens in Gaza, as the Israeli aggression enters its twenty-second consecutive month.
