On Saturday evening, 14 January 2023, tens of thousands of Israelis took part in protests against the Israeli occupation government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, Al-Quds and Haifa, amid a massive deployment of Israeli police officers.
Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed that in the massive Israeli demonstrations, about 100 thousand demonstrators took place in Tel Aviv, about 2000 in Haifa, about 1500 in front of the Israeli president's house in Al-Quds and hundreds in front of the home of Justice Minister Yarev Levine in Modi'in.
Gantz said in an earlier statement: "I will participate in the massive demonstration that will take place in Habima Square in Tel Aviv, and Netanyahu's intentions to turn on the police sovereignty, violate the most basic values and refuse to negotiate broad agreements are very dangerous steps for Israel.
