Israeli occupation forces attacked a number of citizens in the area of Bab al-Amoud in the occupied city of Al-Quds, simultaneously with groups of colonial settlers storming the area.

Local sources reported that occupation forces had assaulted a group of young Jerusalemites who had gathered in the area to counter the settlers' incursion, preventing them from sitting on the steps of Bab Al-Amoud. As a result, confrontations broke out.
